padding-top:2px; float:left;\" alt=\"Share Button\"\/><\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\">var hupso_services_c=new Array(\"twitter\",\"facebook_like\",\"google\");var hupso_counters_lang = \"es_LA\";var hupso_image_folder_url = \"\";var hupso_twitter_via=\"crsyvrs\";var hupso_url_c=\"\";<\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/static.hupso.com\/share\/js\/counters.js\"><\/script><!-- Hupso Share Buttons --><\/div><h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">El talentoso saxofonista, hermano del trompetista Wynton, saldr\u00e1 a escena en esa sala porte\u00f1a el 15 de noviembre al frente de su cuarteto para presentar su nuevo espect\u00e1culo.<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/archivo.eluniversal.com.mx\/img\/2015\/04\/Cul\/brandford_marsalis_lunario-movil.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"505\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El saxofonista estadounidense <strong>Branford Marsalis<\/strong> ser\u00e1 el encargado de cerrar el festival <strong>Buenos Aires Jazz<\/strong> con un concierto programado para el pr\u00f3ximo domingo 15 de noviembre en el <strong>Teatro Col\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El saxo, que fue casi una estrella pop cuando formaba parte de la banda de rock de Sting, y hermano del trompetista <strong>Wynton<\/strong>, se presentar\u00e1 en esa sala porte\u00f1a al frente de un cuarteto que completan <strong>Justin Faulkner<\/strong> en bater\u00eda, <strong>Russell Hall<\/strong> en bajo y <strong>Samora Pinderhughes<\/strong> en piano, con el espect\u00e1culo <em><strong>\u00abAn Evening with Branford Marsalis\u00bb<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nacido en Nueva Orle\u00e1ns y perteneciente a una ilustre familia de m\u00fasicos liderada por <strong>su padre Ellis,<\/strong> Branford tiene 55 a\u00f1os, tres premios<strong> Grammy<\/strong> y una extensa carrera que comenz\u00f3 como saxofonista de The Jazz Messengers de Art Blakey, a comienzos de los \u201880.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Luego arm\u00f3 sus propios proyectos musicales, generalmente en formatos de tr\u00edo y cuarteto e investig\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n las asociaciones del <strong>jazz con el funk, el pop y el soul<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de presentarse como solista junto a orquestas sinf\u00f3nicas en performances de m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica en distintas partes del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con invitados internacionales, grupos locales, cruces de m\u00fasicos extranjeros y argentinos, presentaciones de discos, charlas y workshps, el Buenos Aires Jazz se desarrollar\u00e1 del 10 al 15 de noviembre en distintos espacios de la ciudad, desde la <strong>Usina del Arte al Centro Cultural Recoleta<\/strong> o en el espacio al aire libre del <strong>Auditorio Eva Per\u00f3n de Parque Centenario.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Marsalis, en vivo, al frente de su cuarteto\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DdDb5XClLBI\" width=\"778\" height=\"778\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-bottom:20px;
